HY-A600
HONEMIX
The HY-A600 is intended for factories moving from operator-dependent tube filling to a more controlled automatic process. It is particularly suitable when the required output falls between 30 and 90 tubes per minute and the project involves paste-like products that need accurate positioning, controlled dosing and consistent finished seals.
This model is a strong fit when:
Tube feeding, filling, sealing, coding and discharge need to be combined in one machine.
Printed tubes require accurate orientation before sealing.
Product consistency and material loss must be controlled across multiple shifts.
The filling path needs to be dismantled regularly for cleaning or product changeover.
Production includes plastic, laminated/composite or aluminum tubes with a clearly defined sealing requirement.
For small or frequently changing batches with limited daily output, a semi-automatic system can provide a lower initial investment. If the sustained production target is consistently above 30 units per minute, the HY-A600 is a suitable choice.
HY-A600 Automatic Tube Filler and Sealer Overview
HY-A600 Eight-Station Process Layout
Production Stage | Machine Function | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Tubes are arranged and transferred from the magazine into individual holders | Reduces repetitive manual placement |
| Each tube is secured in its holder before inspection and filling | Supports stable positioning throughout the process |
| Sensors identify missing, inverted or seriously deformed tubes | Prevents incorrect filling and unnecessary material loss |
| A color-mark sensor and independent servo rotate each tube to the required position | Maintains artwork and tail-seal alignment |
| A servo piston system fills from the lower part of the tube while the nozzle rises | Helps limit air pockets and keeps the sealing area cleaner |
| Tubes identified as abnormal are removed at the reject station | Prevents rejected tubes from entering the sealing stage |
| The machine applies the sealing method specified for the selected tube material | Supports consistent seal appearance and batch identification |
| Completed tubes are released for collection or downstream packaging | Makes later cartoning or line integration easier to plan |

Configuration | Applicable Tubes | Tube Diameter | Tube Length | Filling Range | Tail-Finishing Process |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Hot-air sealing configuration | Plastic and laminated/composite tubes | Ø13–50 mm | 70–230 mm | 5–220 mL/tube | Internal hot-air heating, external water cooling, sealing, coding and trimming |
Mechanical folding configuration | Aluminum tubes | Ø13–30 mm | 70–230 mm | 5–150 mL/tube | Tail flattening, mechanical folding and emboss coding |
The HY-A600 is supplied with sealing hardware selected for the buyer’s tube material. Plastic and laminated tubes require a different process from aluminum tubes, so the correct configuration must be confirmed before manufacture.
Nominal Fill Volume (Qn) | Specified Filling Tolerance |
|---|---|
Qn ≤ 5 mL | ≤ ±4% |
5 mL < Qn ≤ 15 mL | ≤ ±3% |
15 mL < Qn ≤ 30 mL | ≤ ±2% |
30 mL < Qn ≤ 220 mL* | ≤ ±1% |
The upper filling limit is 220 mL for the plastic/laminated configuration and 150 mL for the aluminum configuration.

The filling nozzle enters the tube before dosing and rises as the product is dispensed. This method is valuable for creams, gels and ointments that may trap air, form strings or contaminate the upper sealing area when filled from a fixed height.
The metering valve, piston and filling nozzle use a removable structure to support routine cleaning. Filling volume is entered through the HMI.
Servo-Controlled Bottom-Up Filling
For plastic and laminated/composite tubes, controlled hot air is directed inside the tail area. Circulating water cools the outside wall while the sealing surfaces are heated. The tube is then sealed, coded and trimmed to produce the specified finished-tail profile.
Heating temperature and airflow must be matched to the tube structure, wall thickness and sealing layer. Tube samples are therefore required before final tooling and process parameters are approved.
Hot-Air Sealing for Plastic and Laminated Tubes
For aluminum tubes, the tail is flattened and mechanically folded instead of heat-sealed. Coding can be applied through steel-character embossing.
The required fold style, finished-tail dimensions and coding position should be confirmed from the buyer’s packaging drawing or approved sample.
Mechanical Folding Process for Aluminum Tubes
Available Aluminum Tube Fold Styles
Product Type | Main Filling Concern | Information Required Before Selection |
|---|---|---|
Cosmetic cream and cleanser | Air entrapment, stringing and clean tube tails | Viscosity, filling temperature, fill volume and tube sample |
Ointment and topical gel | Filling tolerance, hygiene and batch traceability | Product characteristics, cleaning method and coding requirement |
Toothpaste and dental paste | High viscosity, air content and finished seal strength | Product density, deaeration condition and tube structure |
Food paste and sauce | Product-contact requirements and cleanability | Ingredients, operating temperature and applicable food standards |
Adhesive and technical paste | Abrasiveness, chemical compatibility and difficult cleaning | Material safety data, particle information and wetted-part requirements |
A small absolute dosing variation represents a larger percentage of a 5 mL fill than of a 100 mL fill. For this reason, the HY-A600 specification uses different tolerance levels for different nominal volumes.
Downstream integration can be evaluated according to the discharge method, transfer height, line speed, control signals and available factory layout. These details should be confirmed before the final line design is approved.
Samples should represent every planned tube diameter, length, material, cap design and artwork position. For aluminum tubes, the required folded-tail sample should also be provided.
The quotation depends on tube material, filling range, tooling quantity, sealing system, coding method, electrical specification, optional functions, line integration and destination-market requirements.
The HY-A600 supports these materials through different project-specific configurations. Plastic and laminated tubes use hot-air sealing, while aluminum tubes require mechanical folding hardware. The required tube materials must be confirmed before manufacture.
