The HONEMIX FT-APP Automatic Cosmetic Powder Pressing Machine is developed for manufacturers producing eyeshadow, pressed face powder, blush, powder foundation, contour, highlighter and other compact color cosmetics.
It combines controlled powder feeding, adjustable dosing, hydraulic bottom-up pressing, roll cloth handling, dust extraction and finished-product ejection within one coordinated production cycle. Operators can adjust the powder quantity, pressing pressure, pressing time, cycle speed and batching length to match different powder formulas, pan formats and surface requirements.
Compared with manual powder filling and pressing, the FT-APP helps manufacturers improve cycle consistency, reduce repetitive handling and maintain better control over powder usage. Customized mold sets can be manufactured according to the buyer’s aluminum pan, godet, refill pan or palette sample.

FT-APP
HONEMIX
The FT-APP is an automatic hydraulic press designed specifically for compact color cosmetic production. Powder is supplied from the hopper and delivered to the mold according to the selected dosing settings. The machine then positions the roll cloth or pressing material and applies controlled hydraulic pressure from the bottom upward.
This bottom-up pressing direction helps the powder settle and form inside the pan while allowing the operator to adjust the pressure according to the powder formula, binder content, pan depth and desired finished texture.
After pressing, the finished powder pan can be automatically ejected for inspection and downstream compact or palette assembly. An exhaust dust collection system removes loose airborne powder around the working section and helps recover compatible same-color material.
The FT-APP is suitable for OEM and private-label cosmetic factories that produce repeat color cosmetic SKUs and need more stable output than manual pressing operations can provide.

The forming cylinder applies pressure from the bottom toward the upper mold. This pressing direction provides controlled compression inside the aluminum pan or godet and can be adjusted for powders with different densities, binder ratios and pressing characteristics.
Hydraulic pressure can be modified according to the desired product hardness, pickup performance and surface finish. The correct setting should be confirmed through formula and pan testing rather than using one pressure value for every product.
The integrated powder feeder transfers material into the mold area automatically. Operators can adjust the dosing amount according to the target filling weight, pan depth and powder flowability.
Powder quantity can be changed through the machine settings without relying only on aluminum pan thickness. This provides greater flexibility when producing different powder weights with compatible mold configurations.
The PLC control system allows key production parameters to be set from the touch screen, including:
Powder feeding quantity
Pressing pressure
Number of pressing cycles
Pressing time
Pressing speed
Batching length
Roll cloth movement
Manual or automatic operation
Repeatable settings help manufacturers establish a more controlled production process for stable SKUs and reduce dependence on individual operator experience.
Pressing molds can be manufactured according to the buyer’s aluminum pan, godet, refill pan or finished compact sample.
The upper, middle and lower mold components are installed together on the machine table. A separate mold set is normally required for each substantially different pan shape, size, cavity arrangement or surface design.
Custom tooling can support:
Round pans
Square pans
Rectangular pans
Multi-cavity eyeshadow trays
Refill pans
Customized embossed surfaces
Brand logos or decorative patterns, subject to mold evaluation
Buyers should provide accurate pan drawings and physical samples before mold production.
The roll cloth mechanism supplies the pressing material between the powder and pressing surface. Cloth movement and batching length can be adjusted to match the mold layout and production cycle.
The selected cloth type can influence powder release, surface appearance and cleaning requirements. Final cloth selection should therefore be tested with the actual formulation.
Loose powder generated around the feeding and pressing area is removed through the exhaust dust collection device.
This system helps:
Reduce airborne powder around the workstation
Maintain a cleaner machine surface
Limit avoidable raw-material loss
Support same-color powder collection
Simplify cleaning after production
Reduce powder accumulation around moving components
Recovered powder should only be reused when permitted by the manufacturer’s quality procedure and when cross-color or cross-batch contamination is properly controlled.
After the pressing cycle is completed, the automatic ejection mechanism releases the pressed powder pan from the mold area.
This reduces repetitive manual removal and supports a smoother transfer to surface inspection, compact assembly, palette loading or secondary packaging.
The working area is equipped with a safety light curtain and photoelectric protection. These devices help stop or prevent the pressing cycle when an unsafe entry into the protected area is detected.
The machine also provides accessible operating buttons, an emergency stop and manual control functions for setup, mold adjustment, testing and maintenance.
The FT-APP Automatic Cosmetic Powder Pressing Machine is designed for pressed color cosmetics, including:
Single-Pan Eyeshadow
Multi-Shade Eyeshadow
Eyebrow Powder
Pressed Pigment

Actual pressability depends on powder formulation, binder distribution, oil content, particle characteristics, filling weight, pan design and target product hardness. Production trials are recommended before confirming the final mold and pressing parameters.
The cosmetic powder is blended, conditioned and prepared before being loaded into the machine hopper. Aluminum pans or godets are placed in the corresponding customized mold.
The powder feeder transfers material toward the mold section. The dosing quantity is adjusted according to the required powder weight and pan dimensions.
The material is distributed across the mold cavities. Correct powder flowability and consistent feeding are important for uniform pan weight and surface quality.
The roll cloth system advances the selected pressing material over the filled mold before hydraulic compression begins.
The forming cylinder applies adjustable pressure from bottom to top. Pressing pressure, time, speed and repeat cycles are selected according to the formulation and desired powder-cake characteristics.
Loose powder is drawn toward the collection system to reduce dust accumulation around the working area.
The pressed pans are released from the mold section and transferred for inspection, palette assembly or compact packaging.
Adjustable hydraulic pressure and programmable pressing time provide better control than operator-dependent manual pressing.
Automatic powder feeding and adjustable dosing help establish a more repeatable powder quantity for each mold cycle.
Pressure, filling weight, binder ratio and pressing time can be tested together to improve pan adhesion and product integrity.
The operator can reduce pressure or modify pressing time when excessive compaction causes poor product pickup or hard-pan performance.
The exhaust collection device helps remove loose powder generated around the feeding and pressing stations.
PLC and HMI control allow established settings to be stored or repeated for compatible products, reducing unnecessary manual adjustment.
Customized mold sets allow the machine to be configured for different pan shapes and cavity arrangements.
