The HONEMIX HPM-EX is an industrial perfume processing system combining a 2000L pneumatic mixing and freezing tank, a sanitary filtration unit, and a separate 30 HP refrigeration package. Built for perfume factories, fragrance contract manufacturers, and private-label production facilities, it handles controlled blending, low-temperature treatment, clarification, and filtration of alcohol-based fragrance liquids before storage or bottle filling.
Its split-type configuration lets you position the mixing tank, filtration skid, and refrigeration unit separately, based on your factory platform, doorway dimensions, utility connections, and maintenance access. The system pairs a SUS316L product-contact vessel with pneumatic agitation, an internal cooling coil, ~5 t/h filtration capacity, and a project-specific explosion-proof control design.

Producing visually clear perfume takes more than mixing alcohol, fragrance concentrate, and purified water. Some fragrance ingredients contain wax-like substances, resins, or poorly soluble components that turn visible after a temperature change or extended storage — showing up as haze, sediment, or suspended particles in a clear glass bottle.
The HPM-EX blends the formula, brings the liquid down to temperature, holds the batch under set conditions, and filters it before it goes to storage or a filling line.
System Module | Main Function |
|---|---|
2000L Mixing & Freezing Tank | Ingredient charging, blending, temperature treatment, batch holding |
Perfume Filtration Unit | Product transfer, primary filtration, polishing filtration |
Separate Refrigeration Unit | Supplies cooling to the internal tank coil |
Splitting the system into three modules — rather than one integrated frame — gives your engineering team room to arrange the equipment around existing platforms, production areas, refrigeration piping, and operator access. It's especially useful for factory expansion, line upgrades, and projects where the filtration unit or chiller can't sit directly beside the main tank.
Working capacity: 2000L. Gross volume: 2200L. Sized for established fragrance manufacturers and OEM/ODM perfume factories that want to move past repeated small-batch preparation — fewer intermediate transfers, more consistent processing conditions batch to batch, longer runs feeding downstream filling lines, and less frequent cleaning versus multiple smaller batches.
The minimum operating volume depends on impeller position, cooling-coil coverage, temperature-probe placement, and your required mixing performance — we'll confirm this against your formula.
All product-contact sections — inner vessel, cooling coil, and specified process piping — are SUS316L stainless steel. SUS304 is used on selected external, non-product-contact components. This gives you sanitary handling, corrosion resistance, and structural strength at a sensible project cost.
Vessel Section | Specification |
|---|---|
Inner Tank | SUS316L stainless steel |
Inner Tank Diameter | 1600 mm |
Inner Tank Thickness | 5 mm |
Outer Layer | SUS304 stainless steel |
Outer Diameter | 1650 mm |
Outer Thickness | 3 mm |
Working Capacity | 2000L |
Gross Capacity | 2200L |
Vessel Type | Insulated perfume mixing and cooling tank |
A top-mounted pneumatic mixing system replaces the standard electric motor you'd normally find directly above the product vessel — a GAST 8AM pneumatic motor driving two levels of three-blade impellers, running 0–1,400 rpm for low-viscosity perfume liquids.
We size the final mixer to your alcohol concentration, fragrance concentrate ratio, normal and minimum production volumes, required mixing time, tank geometry, and compressed-air supply.
Cooling Coil | Specification |
|---|---|
Material | SUS316L |
Length | ~180 m |
Tube Diameter | 32 mm |
Installation | Inside the perfume processing vessel |
Cooling Source | Separate refrigeration unit |
The coil gives the vessel a large internal heat-transfer surface so the cooling medium can pull heat out of the batch efficiently. Actual cooling time depends on starting and target temperature, alcohol/fragrance concentration, ambient factory temperature, cooling-medium temperature, compressor performance, coil surface area, tank insulation, and mixing speed — we'll work through these with you during project review.
A 30 HP refrigeration package (two 15 HP compressor sections) runs independently of the main tank, giving you flexible chiller positioning, better compressor ventilation, easier maintenance access, less congestion around the processing tank, flexible copper-pipe routing, and more control over noise and heat discharge.
Size-300 plate-and-frame filter (primary)
20-inch three-cartridge filter housing (polishing)
The plate-and-frame stage removes the main separated material; the cartridge stage polishes the perfume before storage or filling.
Filtration Component | Specification |
|---|---|
Primary Filter | Size-300 plate-and-frame filter |
Filtration Area | 1.25 m² |
Flow Rate | ~5 t/h |
Polishing Filter | 20-inch, three-cartridge filter housing |
Housing Material | SUS304 |
Product Piping | SUS316L |
Filter Precision | Selected per your perfume formula |
A SANDPIPER pneumatic diaphragm pump moves chilled perfume from the vessel through the filtration stages and on to storage or a downstream filling system, at ~5 t/h. Pneumatic transfer suits low-viscosity fragrance liquids and keeps a standard electrical pump out of the alcohol-product transfer path.
Flanged sealed tank lid · 400 × 500 mm manway · glass inspection window · explosion-proof sight light · alcohol inlet · purified-water inlet · fragrance-material inlet · spare process port · sanitary breather · temperature probe · two spray balls · bottom discharge valve · cooling-medium inlet and outlet.
Connection standards can be matched to your existing production equipment and sanitary piping.
A 51 mm tank outlet reduces to 38 mm at the connected pipeline — supporting more complete batch discharge, easier transfer to the filtration unit, less residual perfume in the vessel, better drainage during cleaning, and a straightforward connection to sanitary piping. Outlet diameter and fitting standard can be adjusted to match your filtration skid, storage tank, or filling line.
Two spray balls support internal rinsing and cleaning; the manway gives physical access for inspection and maintenance.
Four removable supporting legs, plus removable upper mixer components — built for factories with limited entrance height, retrofit projects, installation below existing platforms, and rooms with restricted access where you'd rather not modify the structure.
The four removable legs can be pre-drilled for customer-selected load cells, with mounting prepared for Mettler Toledo IND360 weighing instrumentation — helping you monitor ingredient charging, control batch quantity, cut manual weighing errors, and compare actual vs. planned batch weights.
Since the system processes alcohol-containing fragrance products, the electrical and safety design is reviewed per project. The control package includes an explosion-proof electrical cabinet, Schneider electrical components, Omron E5AC temperature controllers, power indicator, voltage display, emergency-stop controls, refrigeration-unit controls, mixer controls, temperature monitoring, weighing-display provision, reserved cable entries, and a customer-specific button layout.
Ingredient Charging — Alcohol, fragrance concentrate, purified water, and permitted additives are loaded into the sealed mixing vessel per your approved formula and safety procedure.
Controlled Blending — The pneumatic mixer circulates the liquid and distributes the fragrance ingredients through the batch, with speed and time set to the formula, batch size, and required uniformity.
Low-Temperature Treatment — The refrigeration unit supplies cooling medium to the SUS316L coil, bringing the perfume down to your process target.
Temperature Holding — The batch holds at target condition for a set period, letting wax-like, resinous, or poorly soluble substances separate from the liquid.
Primary Filtration — The diaphragm pump pushes the chilled perfume through the plate-and-frame filter, removing the main separated material and larger particles.
Polishing Filtration — The perfume passes through the cartridge filter housing, graded to your required clarity, pressure drop, and flow.
Transfer to Storage or Filling — Clarified perfume moves to a sanitary storage tank, a buffer vessel, an automatic perfume filling machine, or a full filling and packaging line — configured to your existing equipment.

This lets our engineering team evaluate the mixer, cooling coil, refrigeration capacity, filtration route, pipe diameter, and control system as one complete project.
Controlled cooling causes wax-like or poorly soluble fragrance components to separate from the liquid. Filtering after a defined cooling and holding stage removes these before the perfume goes into storage or a clear bottle. Required temperature and holding time depend on your formula.
2000L working volume, ~2200L gross volume.
The mixing tank, filtration unit, and refrigeration unit are manufactured as separate modules that install independently.
Yes — the system is built for alcohol-containing fragrance products, with pneumatic agitation and a project-specific explosion-proof electrical design.
