The HONEMIX HPM-EX is an industrial perfume processing system combining a 2000L pneumatic mixing and freezing tank, a sanitary filtration unit and a separate 30 HP refrigeration package. Designed for perfume factories, fragrance contract manufacturers and private-label production facilities, the system supports controlled blending, low-temperature treatment, clarification and filtration of alcohol-based fragrance liquids before storage or bottle filling.
Its split-type configuration allows the mixing tank, filtration skid and refrigeration unit to be positioned separately according to the customer’s factory platform, doorway dimensions, utility connections and maintenance space. The system combines a SUS316L product-contact vessel, pneumatic agitation, an internal cooling coil, approximately 5 t/h filtration capacity and a project-specific explosion-proof control design.

Producing visually clear perfume requires more than simply mixing alcohol, fragrance concentrate and purified water.
Some fragrance ingredients contain wax-like substances, resins or poorly soluble components that may become visible after temperature changes or extended storage. These materials can create haze, sediment or suspended particles inside transparent perfume bottles.
The HPM-EX provides a controlled process for blending the formula, reducing the liquid temperature, holding the batch under defined conditions and filtering the perfume before it enters a storage tank or filling line.
The system is divided into three main modules:
System Module | Main Function |
|---|---|
2000L Mixing and Freezing Tank | Ingredient charging, blending, temperature treatment and batch holding |
Perfume Filtration Unit | Product transfer, primary filtration and polishing filtration |
Separate Refrigeration Unit | Supplies cooling capacity to the internal tank coil |
Compared with a single integrated machine frame, the split-type design gives engineering teams more freedom to arrange the equipment around existing platforms, production areas, refrigeration piping and operator access routes.
This configuration is particularly useful for factory expansion, production-line upgrades and projects where the filtration unit or chiller cannot be installed directly beside the main tank.
The vessel has a working capacity of 2000L and a gross volume of 2200L.
This capacity is suitable for established fragrance manufacturers, OEM/ODM perfume factories and businesses that want to reduce repeated small-batch preparation.
A larger working volume can help manufacturers:
Reduce intermediate product transfers.
Standardize the processing conditions of each batch.
Supply downstream filling lines for longer production runs.
Improve production planning for repeat perfume formulas.
Reduce cleaning frequency compared with multiple smaller batches.
The actual minimum operating volume should be confirmed according to the impeller position, cooling-coil coverage, temperature-probe position and required mixing performance.
The product-contact sections of the system use SUS316L stainless steel, including the inner vessel, cooling coil and specified process piping.
SUS304 stainless steel is used for selected external and non-product-contact components.
This material configuration provides a practical balance between sanitary product handling, corrosion resistance, structural strength and project cost.
The vessel construction includes:
Vessel Section | Reference Specification |
|---|---|
Inner Tank | SUS316L stainless steel |
Inner Tank Diameter | 1600 mm |
Inner Tank Thickness | 5 mm |
Outer Layer | SUS304 stainless steel |
Outer Diameter | 1650 mm |
Outer Thickness | 3 mm |
Working Capacity | 2000L |
Gross Capacity | 2200L |
Vessel Type | Insulated perfume mixing and cooling tank |
The tank uses a top-mounted pneumatic mixing system instead of a standard electric motor installed directly above the product vessel.
The configuration uses a GAST 8AM pneumatic motor and two levels of three-blade mixing impellers.
The pneumatic mixer provides a reference speed range of 0–1400 rpm and is intended for blending low-viscosity perfume liquids.
The final mixer selection is based on:
Alcohol concentration.
Fragrance concentrate ratio.
Normal production volume.
Minimum production volume.
Required mixing time.
Tank geometry.
Compressed-air pressure.
Available compressed-air volume.
Required liquid circulation pattern.
The perfume tank is equipped with an internal SUS316L cooling coil.
The coil has:
Cooling Coil Parameter | Reference Specification |
|---|---|
Material | SUS316L |
Approximate Length | 180 m |
Tube Diameter | 32 mm |
Installation | Inside the perfume processing vessel |
Cooling Source | Separate refrigeration unit |
The internal coil provides a large heat-transfer surface inside the vessel, allowing the cooling medium to remove heat from the perfume batch.
The actual cooling performance depends on more than tank capacity. It is affected by:
Starting product temperature.
Required final temperature.
Alcohol and fragrance concentration.
Ambient factory temperature.
Cooling-medium temperature.
Compressor performance.
Coil heat-transfer area.
Tank insulation.
Mixing speed.
Required cooling time.
The system uses a separate 30 HP refrigeration package with two 15 HP compressor sections.
Installing the chiller independently from the main tank provides several advantages:
More flexible chiller positioning.
Improved compressor ventilation.
Easier maintenance access.
Reduced congestion around the processing tank.
Flexible copper-pipe routing.
Easier integration into an existing factory layout.
Greater freedom to manage noise and heat discharge.
The filtration unit combines primary filtration and polishing filtration.
The process uses:
A size-300 plate-and-frame filter.
A 20-inch three-cartridge filter housing.
This two-stage configuration allows the plate-and-frame filter to remove the main separated material, while the cartridge stage performs finer polishing before storage or filling.
Filtration Component | Reference Specification |
|---|---|
Primary Filter | Size-300 plate-and-frame filter |
Filtration Area | 1.25 m² |
Reference Flow | 5 t/h |
Polishing Filter | 20-inch, three-cartridge filter housing |
Housing Material | SUS304 reference configuration |
Product Piping | SUS316L |
Filter Precision | Selected according to the perfume formula |
The filtration system uses a SANDPIPER pneumatic diaphragm pump with a reference flow of 5 t/h.
The pump transfers chilled perfume from the main vessel through the filtration stages and onward to a sanitary storage tank or downstream filling system.
Pneumatic product transfer is suitable for low-viscosity fragrance liquids and avoids installing a standard electrical pump directly in the alcohol-product transfer area.
The tank uses a sealed lid structure designed for controlled perfume processing.
The lid and process connections can include:
Flanged sealed tank lid.
400 × 500 mm manway.
Glass inspection window.
Explosion-proof sight light.
Alcohol inlet.
Purified-water inlet.
Fragrance-material inlet.
Spare process port.
Sanitary breather.
Temperature probe.
Two spray balls.
Bottom discharge valve.
Cooling-medium inlet and outlet.
Common connection standards can be adapted to your existing production equipment and sanitary piping.
The tank includes a bottom butterfly-valve discharge.
The discharge configuration uses an 51 mm tank outlet with a reducer to 38 mm for the connected process pipeline.
A bottom outlet supports:
More complete batch discharge.
Easier product transfer to the filtration unit.
Reduced residual perfume inside the vessel.
Improved drainage during cleaning.
More convenient connection to sanitary piping.
The outlet diameter and fitting standard can be adjusted to match the filtration skid, storage tank or filling line.
Two spray balls are included in the tank configuration to support internal rinsing and cleaning. The manway provides physical access for inspection and maintenance where required.
The vessel uses four removable supporting legs. The upper mixer components can also be removed for transport and installation.
This design is useful for:
Existing factories with limited entrance height.
Retrofit projects.
Installation below existing platforms.
Production rooms with restricted access.
Facilities where structural modifications should be minimized.
The four removable legs can be prepared with mounting holes for customer-selected load cells.
This piece of mechanical equipment provides installation preparation for Mettler Toledo IND360 weighing instrumentation.
A weighing system can help operators:
Monitor ingredient charging.
Control batch quantity.
Reduce manual weighing errors.
Compare actual and planned batch weights.
Improve repeatability between production batches.
The equipment is intended to process alcohol-containing fragrance products and therefore requires a project-specific electrical and safety review.
The control package include:
Explosion-proof electrical cabinet.
Schneider electrical components.
Omron E5AC temperature controllers.
Power indicator.
Voltage display.
Emergency-stop controls.
Refrigeration-unit controls.
Mixer operating controls.
Temperature monitoring.
Provision for weighing displays.
Reserved cable entries.
Customer-specific button layout.
Alcohol, fragrance concentrate, purified water and permitted additives are loaded into the sealed mixing vessel according to the approved perfume formula.
The charging sequence should follow the validated process and safety procedure.
The pneumatic mixer circulates the liquid and distributes the fragrance ingredients throughout the batch.
Mixing speed and time are adjusted according to the formula, batch quantity and required product uniformity.
The separate refrigeration unit supplies cooling medium to the SUS316L coil inside the tank.
The perfume temperature is reduced to the process target established for the specific formula.
After the target condition is reached, the batch can be held for a specified period.
This stage allows certain wax-like, resinous or poorly soluble substances to separate from the liquid phase.
The pneumatic diaphragm pump transfers the chilled perfume through the plate-and-frame filter.
This stage removes the main separated materials and larger suspended particles.
The perfume then passes through the cartridge filter housing.
The cartridge grade is selected according to the required visual clarity, pressure drop and production flow.
After filtration, the clarified perfume can be transferred to:
A sanitary perfume storage tank.
A buffer vessel.
An automatic perfume filling machine.
A complete perfume filling and packaging line.
The downstream connection can be customized according to your existing equipment.

Providing this information allows the engineering team to evaluate the mixer, cooling coil, refrigeration capacity, filtration route, pipe diameter and control system as one complete project.
Controlled cooling can cause wax-like or poorly soluble fragrance components to separate from the liquid phase. Filtering after a defined cooling and holding stage helps remove these visible materials before the perfume is stored or filled into transparent bottles. The required temperature and holding time depend on the actual perfume formula.
The reference working volume is 2000L, with an approximate gross volume of 2200L.
Split-type means that the perfume mixing tank, filtration unit and refrigeration unit are manufactured as separate modules.
The system is intended for alcohol-containing fragrance products and uses pneumatic agitation with a project-specific explosion-proof electrical concept.
A pneumatic mixer avoids placing a standard electric drive directly above the alcohol-containing vessel. It also provides adjustable agitation for low-viscosity fragrance liquids. The air motor must be matched to the available compressed-air pressure and flow.
Different plate-and-frame filter media and cartridge grades can be selected. The appropriate filtration precision depends on the formula, required clarity, particle load, pressure drop, production flow and expected filter life. There is no single micron rating suitable for all perfume products.
Yes. The refrigeration unit is separate from the main vessel and can be positioned according to ventilation, maintenance access and copper-pipe routing.
The reference tank uses removable legs and removable upper mixer components. The target transport height after removing these components is 1950 mm.
Yes. The product outlet, sanitary fittings, pump route and control requirements can be adapted to an existing perfume storage or buffer tank.
Yes. After cooling and filtration, the clarified perfume can be transferred to a buffer tank or directly supplied to a suitable automatic perfume filling system.
Yes. The four tank legs can be prepared for load-cell installation.
The pump and filtration system are designed around an approximate flow of 5 t/h. Actual flow may decrease depending on product temperature, filter grade, pressure drop, pipe length, air supply and filter blockage.
The tank dimensions, mixer, cooling coil, refrigeration unit, filter grades, pipe direction, valve sizes, voltage, controls, weighing system and factory layout can all be reviewed according to the project.
Please provide your equipment requirements, and our engineering team will develop a suitable configuration plan for your production project.
