HONEMIX
A typical cosmetic cream production line follows five connected stages, from process water preparation to final packaging:
Raw Water → Purified Process Water
Phase Preparation → Vacuum Emulsification → Homogenization → Deaeration → Controlled Cooling
Finished Bulk Cream → Sealed Buffer Storage → Filling
Jar Filling & Capping / Bottle Filling / Tube Filling & Sealing
Labeling → Cartoning → Optional Overwrapping
This modular structure keeps the upstream cream manufacturing process consistent while allowing the downstream section to be configured around the final package.
Cosmetic Cream Production Line Process Equipment
The complete line combines water treatment, cream processing, intermediate storage and packaging into one production plan. Each module has a clear role in the process and can be selected according to the required output and automation level.
Provides treated process water for cosmetic cream production, with the treatment configuration selected according to incoming water quality and required production demand.
Combines phase preparation, vacuum emulsification, homogenization, heating, cooling and deaeration in the core cream processing stage, helping produce consistent bulk cream before filling.
Handles the main primary-packaging operations for jar-packed creams, combining filling, inner-disc handling and capping in an automatic system.
Provides automatic primary packaging for cream products in compatible plastic, laminated or aluminum tubes before they move to secondary packaging.
Applies front and back labels to suitable flat, square, oval or rectangular containers as part of an automated downstream packaging line.
Automates secondary carton packaging for compatible tubes or bottles, helping connect primary packaging with the finished retail-pack stage.
Not every project requires every machine. The final configuration should match the actual product, container and required automation level.
The cream manufacturing section can remain largely consistent while the downstream equipment changes according to the final package. This allows manufacturers to configure the packaging section for jars, tubes or bottles without changing the core cream production process.
Package Format | Integrated Production Flow | Main Equipment |
|---|---|---|
Cream Jars | Cream Processing → Buffer Storage → Jar Filling & Capping | HVE-ADH → HST-SLP → AFM-CR |
Cream Tubes | Cream Processing → Buffer Storage → Tube Filling & Sealing | HVE-ADH → HST-SLP → HY-A400 |
Cream Bottles | Cream Processing → Buffer Storage → Servo Piston Filling | HVE-ADH → HST-SLP → AFM-LP |
The upstream process remains consistent, while the primary and secondary packaging equipment is selected according to the finished product.
The same cream manufacturing platform can be adapted to different formulations when the required temperature, shear, viscosity and cleaning conditions are compatible.
Product | Product Type | Typical Process Characteristics | Common Packaging |
|---|---|---|---|
| Face Cream | Emulsified, medium to high viscosity | Jar / Airless Bottle |
| Moisturizing Cream | Oil-water emulsion, controlled cooling | Jar / Bottle |
| Eye Cream | Smaller filling volume, premium packaging | Jar / Tube / Airless Bottle |
| Day & Night Cream | Emulsified cream with active ingredients | Jar |
| Body Cream | Larger batch and filling volumes | Jar / Bottle |
| Hand Cream | Medium-high viscosity | Tube |
| Sunscreen Cream | Controlled dispersion and emulsification | Tube / Bottle |
| Gel Cream | Lower oil phase, controlled texture | Jar / Tube |
| BB / CC Cream | Pigmented emulsion | Tube / Bottle |
| Cleansing Cream | Emulsion with medium-high viscosity | Jar / Tube |
| Cosmetic Balm | Higher wax or oil content | Jar |
| Cream-Type Mask | Thick or semi-solid texture | Jar / Tube |
The product name alone does not determine the machine configuration. Final equipment selection should be based on the formula process, production target and packaging format.

HONEMIX reviews the complete cream production process to help processing, transfer and packaging equipment work together efficiently.
Project planning can include:
1. Process Water & Utilities
Match water treatment, power, heating, cooling and compressed air to the required production capacity.
2. Heating & Cooling Capacity
Review batch size, process temperature and cooling conditions to avoid long production cycles.
3. Transfer & Buffer Storage
Plan product transfer and buffer capacity according to viscosity, filling demand and production timing.
4. Processing & Packaging Balance
Match mixer output with filling and downstream packaging speeds to reduce waiting and line stoppages.
5. Changeover & Future Expansion
Consider SKU changes, package formats and future capacity when planning equipment layout and automation.
The line is selected around the actual formula, viscosity, output and package.
Bulk manufacturing and downstream packaging can be planned together.
Configure jar, bottle or tube packaging without forcing one fixed line design.
Equipment configuration, layout communication, FAT, installation guidance and commissioning support can be provided according to project scope.
A typical commercial line includes process-water treatment, phase preparation, a vacuum emulsifying mixer, buffer storage, product transfer, filling and downstream packaging equipment.
For emulsified creams, the vacuum emulsifying mixer is normally the core processing system. In this line, the HVE-ADH combines phase preparation, emulsification, homogenization, vacuum processing, heating and cooling.
The HST-SLP separates batch manufacturing from filling. It allows finished cream to be held and supplied to the packaging section while the mixer becomes available for the next batch.
Yes. The upstream manufacturing section can remain similar, while downstream packaging changes. AFM-CR is used for jars and HY-A400 is used for tubes.
Calculate the complete production cycle, including preparation, heating, emulsification, cooling, transfer and packaging. Actual daily output is more important than nominal vessel volume.
Provide the product or formula, batch size, daily output, heating and cooling temperatures, viscosity, package dimensions, filling volume, required speed and factory utilities.
Tell us what cream you plan to produce and your target capacity. We’ll recommend a practical equipment configuration for your production line.
